1. The Problem

Prior authorization in hospitals is reactive and manual. Required clinical evidence usually exists in the chart, but is incomplete, fragmented, or undocumented in the exact form demanded by the payer coverage policy.

Result: Avoidable rejections, administrative delay for critical biologic therapies, and repetitive staff rework.

2. The Solution (MUWAFIQ)

MUWAFIQ moves intelligence before submission. It matches clinical documentation against versioned, explicit coverage requirements and flags the exact missing requirement.

The Transformation: Reject → Fix → Resubmit becomes Check → Fix → Submit Once.

The competition MVP uses structured demo policies to demonstrate the workflow. In deployment, payer-issued coverage policies would be formally ingested, versioned, and governed.

3. The Golden Demonstration

Case RHEUM-001 starts with a 38/100 readiness score due to an undocumented prior conventional therapy failure. A single-click clinical addendum resolves the gap, raising readiness deterministically to 94/100 (+56 pts).
